What is happening

A burned area near the entrance of the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park on May 14, 2021, marked the largest wildfire within the park's boundaries, scorching a total of 193,812 acres. Recent forest fires and other threats have endangered many forests in Colorado.
These blazes, along with other potential threats like drought and insect infestations, endanger the health and biodiversity of Colorado's precious forests.

Restoration plan

The elusive wolverine, a stocky member of the weasel family, has long been a symbol of wilderness resilience.Their populations have dwindled across the Rocky Mountains due to habitat loss and fragmentation.
Recent research using remote camera traps, DNA analysis, and snow tracking has revealed a surprising truth: a thriving wolverine population calls RMNP home.

Please help us restore Colorado's forests so we can enjoy their natural beauty for generations to come!
