Restoration plan
A species previously feared lost due to habitat loss, the red wolf, is making a surprising comeback thanks to successful conservation efforts.
This positive trend is further bolstered by a new Red Wolf Recovery Plan from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The plan aims to expand the red wolf population to a robust 740 individuals and establish two additional reintroduction sites.
